Getting started
- How do I set up my booking page?
- The first-run setup walks you through it: pick your profession, adjust the starter services we pre-fill for you, and name your location. After that your booking page is live at your link — refine anything later in Settings and the Services page.
- Where is my booking link, and how do I share it?
- It's blupage.app/your-slug. The quickest place to grab it is Settings → Billing, under "Share your booking page" — copy it or open it in a new tab. You can change the slug itself in Settings → Profile. Put the link in your Instagram bio, emails, and anywhere clients find you.
- How do I add or edit services?
- Go to the Services page in the left nav. Add a service with a name, price, duration, and an optional buffer between appointments; toggle a service inactive to hide it from booking without deleting it. Clients pick from your active services when they book.
Booking & calendar
- How do clients book with me?
- They open your booking link, choose a service, pick an open time, and enter their details; the request lands in your dashboard for you to confirm (or turn on auto-confirm in Settings → Profile). Note that your own link changes once you join a clinic: when you share a location with other practitioners, it fans out first — a client who opens it picks the location (if there's more than one), then the profession, then the practitioner, before reaching your services and a time — instead of going straight to your services.
- How do I set my working hours?
- Settings → Availability. Turn on each day you work and add one or more time windows to it — you can run, say, a morning and an evening block on the same day, and tie a window to a specific location. A window can repeat every week or every other week; for a biweekly one you pick which week it starts, and BluPage keeps the alternation from there. All times, for you and your clients, show in your practice timezone, so a client in another timezone still books the right moment.
- What calendar views are there?
- The Calendar page has Day, Week, and Month views — switch between them at the top, and use the arrows to move through time. Your dashboard also surfaces today's agenda and pending requests at a glance.
Charting & records
- Are my chart notes locked after signing?
- Yes. Signing a SOAP note locks it — the signed record can't be edited. Corrections are added as append-only amendments, so the original and every change stay on a full, timestamped trail.
- Can I export my clinical records?
- Export everything from Settings → Data. See the Your Data page for what’s included and how retention works.
Invoicing & payments
- How do I create an invoice?
- Open the appointment from your calendar or dashboard; its drawer has an Invoice section — Generate invoice builds one from the appointment's service and price. Generating an invoice doesn't record a payment: the two are separate steps, so a new invoice starts fully outstanding until you record what's actually paid.
- How do I record payments — including an insurance portion?
- On the invoice — the ⋯ menu on the Invoices page, or the appointment's Invoice section — choose Record payment. You can add more than one payment against the same invoice, for example an insurance portion and the client's portion, each with its own amount and method (cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, e-transfer, insurance, or other). The invoice shows as partially paid until the payments cover the total, then paid.
- Can I apply a discount?
- Yes — a percentage or a fixed amount, set when you generate the invoice. You can also give a client a default discount on their client page; it applies to their invoices automatically unless you override it on a particular one.
- I made a mistake on an invoice — can I void or reissue it?
- Void marks an invoice as not to be relied upon — it stays on the record rather than being deleted. Reissue creates a fresh invoice with a new number, for when the details changed after it was issued. Any payments already recorded carry over to the reissued invoice — payments belong to the money received, not the document — so reissuing a partially-paid invoice doesn't lose them. Both keep a reason on the trail.
- Where does HST (tax) come from?
- From your tax status, which you set during setup or in Settings → Invoicing. Registered means invoices add tax at your rate; tax-exempt means they show no tax. Until you've chosen one, invoice generation is paused (rather than quietly issuing an untaxed invoice), and the Generate button links you to Settings to set it. A service that should be taxed differently can carry its own rate override, which takes precedence over your default rate.
